About this fiber: This fiber is Superwash Cheviot Wool Top. One of the ‘whitest’ of the natural white breeds making for a perfect canvas for beautiful multiple colors in any colorway. It is not too crimpy and is quite resilient, which makes this Cheviot Superwash wool suitable for blending easily with other fibers. This fiber, being superwash, is NOT for felting projects. Cheviot is known for being “the hand spinners choice” for beginning spinners. It is more forgiving, being Cheviot, and as you begin to learn about fiber and how to handle it, superwash is a great choice to learn to spin on.
